Eden had been rather lonely and not knowing what else to do, she decided to play her violin where she thought no one would be. She didn't see anyone which was nice. She was in her own little world. She had an Ipod and had it where anyone around could hear it. Taking a deep breath she put the violin up to her chin, and began to play a very sad melody. No one really knew her, and so didn't know what else to do. Since perhaps this was her way of releasing all her sad emotions, which felt good.
But at least she had a heart, the piano played and with the violin she showed her heart to anyone who cared to listen. The song played on the wind carrying it rather far, and having no cares in the world. She wrote this song years ago but hadn't played it in a long time. She had played it at a funereal in New York City for a friend of the family, and people said she could play anything. But she had no idea about it as she just played, and put the violin down when she was done.
She sighed a bit unsure if anyone heard it but didn't worry about it, being at peace was important and wanted to do everything she could to be happy. But perhaps everyone needed someone, her eyes looked up at the sky and felt a silence fill her heart but it was a comfortable silence.
Her Song

This world is not meant for you They’re trying to catch you. Daniel had no idea why he was here. Duck ponds weren’t really his things in the first place. In reality he really should be at some sort of gym or working out. But there was no gym here from what he’d seem over the years and the weather wasn’t really good to go for a job or something. It was true that they had some equipment back at the house, but combine that with his sister and the constant eerie mood of the house; it wasn’t necessarily the perfect atmosphere. There were other things besides his body that he could be training. He had yet to master every aspect of his shape shifting. There were things that he still didn’t understand. His parents weren’t helpfully at all, especially after the divorce. Well, they weren’t much help before that anyway. His sister wouldn’t know anything anyway, so asking her would be pointless. Unfortunately Dan didn’t know any other shape shifters. The small amount of sprites or shifters back in Australia were rare as it was and he hadn’t met many during the time he lived there. It was a bit sad really. Deep down, he would’ve loved to have met another shape shifter. In a sense, it would’ve made things a bit easier.
Shoving his hands in his jean pockets, Dan kept on walking. There was no point moping about it. Sooner or later another shape shifter would come along and hopefully be able to answer the questions he’d have. But until that day came, he would have to keep the questions to himself. A small breeze picked up and Dan flinched ever so slightly. It was one of those winds that was pretty cold and felt like it just swept right through you. Almost protectively, Dan pulled his jacket around his torso, doing up the zipper. It wasn’t much in the way of warmth, but it had some shielding to the wind. However, it was then another gust of wind blew his way. With that wind came a melody. Dan didn’t recognise what it was at first, considering it to be a figment of his imagination or the wind itself. It wasn’t until the wind stopped however, did he realize that it wasn’t either of these things but someone playing the violin.
Dan had never seen anyone play the violin before and he chastised himself for overlooking the young woman playing it right near him. He came to a halt as he listened the melody the woman was playing. It was sad alright and he cocked his head to the side a little. She was turned slightly, so that nearly all of what he could see of her was her back. But he was able to catch a glimpse or two of her face. From what he could see, her expression wasn’t the happiest one around. Though he could tell from the tune that she wasn’t exactly happy. In his mind, no-one happy would play that in a public place. Daniel leaned against a nearby tree as he listened to the rest of the song. Barely anyone else was around to be able to listen to it and while Daniel would never admit it out loud, the song was bound to stick with him. It was sad sure, which kind of made him feel a little down, but he was a more worried about the girl in front of him. Dan would never admit this out loud either because he didn’t want to seem soft.
After the girl had finished playing the song and placed the violin down, Dan stood there for several seconds, letting the melody sink in. He was unsure as to whether or not he should go over and say something. “You’re very good at playing.” He called out, staying exactly where he was. Hopefully the female wouldn’t be too alarmed at his presence.

Everything in her head had been spinning, when she played nothing was around her. If people saw her she didn't see them, if kids were playing around she didn't hear there shrieks of laughter. When she sang or played it didn't really matter to her. Amazing how music could hold ones soul it was interesting to know this kind of thing, she didn't even see the guy that was watching her. She felt more alive then anything right now, looking up at the sky she smiled even more. Looking down at her violin she sighed a bit, the last thing her parents gave her.
But then she noticed some ducks that came in and smiled even at them, she loved animals. She had a thing for them, she took something from her pocket which were bread crumbs and began to feed them for a second, dumping the bread crumbs on the ground. watching baby ducks with there parents. Made her miss her family even more. But she sensed someone was watching her, it didn't take much to be able to know someone was watching. Eden didn't worry about it, perhaps she was stupid not to. She knew one thing, this town was different.
Hearing a voice she wasn't startled since she had a feeling she was right about someone being there, and he was really cute. Her grey eyes looked at him as she brushed a strand of hair out of her eyes, and blushed a little when he said she played well. No one but her parents ever told her that, and figured it was because she was there daughter. But it appears she was wrong about it. Walking up to him she was shy for a second, but shook the shyness away from her. Since she doubted she would be good being shy.
"Thank you if I knew someone would be passing by I would have played something different, I come out here sometimes to just relax and enjoy the cold air. I love the cold but not to happy with the snow, grew out of that when I was a kid. Since I graduated high school and don't need to worry about school closings I don't like it, just makes it harder to go to work. I am going to take a wild guess at this, but are you Daniel by any chance? Hope I didn't just make an ass of myself"
She smiled at what she said since she hated to be wrong about certain things, this was the certain thing she hoped she knew what she was talking about. And was surprised if it was him, she didn't think she would ever see him here. Since he wasn't a duck pond person. But she never judged a book by it's cover, she crossed her arms happily and waited patiently and silently for his answer. She hoped he was because man he was very handsome. Though around cute guys she had to be careful because she would talk there ears off.

This world is not meant for you They’re trying to catch you. Daniel stood there, a shocked expression crossing over his face as the girl walked straight up to him. People usually didn’t do that and it put him off a bit when they did. He wasn’t quite sure who this girl was exactly, but she looked familiar to an extent. He had probably walked past her once or twice in the street. That was probably it. His shocked expression deepened either more as she started talking and when she said his name. How did she know that? He thought, a small panic like alarm going off in his brain. Quickly looking around, Dan realized he was alone. Then it clicked where he knew the woman from. They’d chatted for a brief period on instant messenger. She had practically rambled on there too. Looking back with a cocky smile and a raised eyebrow, Dan spoke back to the woman. “You might have seeing you can talk the ear off anyone you want.” Even though they had talked only briefly before, he was still a little put off by how much she talked about things. It wasn’t something he particularly liked and would rather people get straight to the point.
“You’re Eden aren’t you?” Dan asked, a little nervous. He shouldn’t have been seeing as she obviously knew him more than he knew her. In fact, he was a little glad that she’d recognised him first. If he’d recognised her first, there would be little to no chance of him walking up to her and saying ‘hey’. She talked too much for her own good and it made Dan want to back off a bit. Her openness with the events of her life seemed a bit too good to be true as well. Daniel was never that open with people. The only way he would ever open up was if he had quite a bit to drink or to someone he really trusted. He didn’t really have trust issues, he was just careful with who he placed it with. Placing trust in the wrong person could often lead to things going wrong. Now that he got a better look at the woman in front of her, it struck him that she was rather attractive. She talked too much, but her face was pretty enough.
“Why are you out here on such a dreary day? I wouldn’t take you as someone who played instruments outside very often. Especially on days like this.”

Eden smiled at him when he began to talk to her, she was rather happy that he was willing to talk to her. Though it was almost like he had better things to do, and perhaps he had. Looking down a little bit she sighed a bit, watching the ducks every so often which made her smile even more. But then he asked about why she was here with the weather as it was, she didn't want to do something stupid like talk his ear off again. When he said her name she nodded showing it was her, and took a deep breath.
Choosing her words carefully since she didn't want to be a pain. But something told her that she would be any way, looking slowly up at him and looked over him for a second, and made sure he had no idea she was checking him out. But he was rather good looking, and in that moment wished she had a boyfriend. But making sure she didn't keep him waiting for an answer either, she looked up into his eyes and crossed her arms. Her heart was pounding, she didn't do good around cute guys but would pace herself.
"Honestly? matches my mood. And I am sorry about talking your ears off on messenger. Just felt good to talk with someone you know?" Was all she said, she kept it short and rather simple. So she didn't upset him or bore him, she didn't know if he would talk to her after this conversation was over. Or if it was over right now, she was rather happy about everything right now. Even if they were to never to talk again. At least for a brief moment she thought about having a friend, though in time she wanted more with someone.
Perhaps she was just a stupid girl, one no one wanted to hang with. Much like the stranger from the bar, she could understand why he didn't want to give her his name. But being as stubborn as he was wasn't healthy for him. But she looked at her Violin and smiled a bit, she hadn't been happy in a long while and wouldn't really talk about it. Unless someone wanted to know. Since she didn't really worry about it. But She put it back in her case and held it in her hand, curious about something.
"Since you said you were not really into ducks I am surprised your here" She said with a kind smile to her face.

This world is not meant for you They’re trying to catch you. A few, almost awkward, seconds passed by and Daniel could feel her eyes on him. If anything, it made him feel slightly uncomfortable. He wasn’t sure what she was doing, but it made him want to squirm. He wasn’t used to it and kind of made him feel like he was under the eye on his parents after he’d done something terrible. It had only been once or twice, but he still felt it. Suppressing a shiver, Dan listened to her explanation as best he could. Usually, he’d be intent on listening to what people had to say, but things were on his mind. He kept this from his face though, as to not have Eden try to delve into his thoughts.
He nodded at her words. That was as much as he could muster for a few seconds until his personality came back. “Apology accepted.” Dan said, a cocky smile appearing on his face. “I’m not quite sure what you mean by that though. I’ve never really needed to find someone to talk too that much.” Shoving his hands back into his pockets, he looked at her for a few seconds. Maybe he wasn’t being completely honest, but then again why should be? He wasn’t someone to spill his guts to someone he’d only just met. Daniel liked to keep an air of mystery around him, even if meant lying on the odd occasion. Though, he knew that didn’t need anyone to talk too. He wasn’t the sort of person to need help like that. Normally he kept his thoughts to himself, occasionally sharing a few with his sister if he really needed it. In fact, Dan was quite lucky that he had his sister. The amount of help she’d given him was great and was far beyond what his parents had done.
Dan shrugged. He knew what he said and it was true. He wasn’t much of a duck pond person. “It wasn’t so much ducks that brought me here. More of I just wandered here on my own.” It was a half baked answer and he couldn’t bring himself to think of the real reason he was here since there wasn’t any. If there was more in this town, Dan would probably be there instead of here. But seeing as it was so small, there was little to do and he didn’t want to stay cooped up inside all the time. “To be fair, there’s little else to do in this town that wandering seems to take up most of my time anyway.” Another shrug escaped his shoulders and Daniel looked over the pond of swimming ducks. He couldn’t see the fascination with these things. Sure the babies looked kinda cute but that was about it. Looking back towards Eden, he let a small smile land on his lips. He didn’t fully trust her yet, but it felt good to have some sort of company, despite his earlier thoughts. Slightly annoying or otherwise, it was just a shame she talked a bit too much, otherwise he would’ve enjoyed it more.

Eden really liked him already and knew in time she hoped he would learn to trust her. But she knew that trust was earned and she would earn it, she sat down on the bench and put her violin away. Looking over at the ducks and noticed one walking to her. She took the little baby in her hand and smiled at it, stroking its cute little back. She had a big heart and some knew it and gave her hell for it. But she didn't mind it to much, since in time she figured she would be free and have some friends.
Smiling at the duckling a soft melody escaped her lips
"Reaching for you I know you're out there somewhere It's too dark, I'm so cold I know I had to come here
Every broken dream That I leave behind Keeps me going on Keeps me running blind
Calling your name, I hear only echoes Searching the rain, I see only shadows You've got to show me your face Voices, I hear them calling behind me Phantoms of you are burning inside me You've got to give me a sign
Fading slowly You're drifting into darkness I can't see, I can't think I need to keep on searching
Every memory Every thought of you Is inside of me Tells me what to do"
It had been a rather old song she wrote ages ago, and she stood up and knelt down putting the baby back with his mother and smiled a bit. Her grey eyes looking back at Dan and didn't know what he would think of the crazy girl. But didn't worry about it. Running her fingers in her hair as she sighed a bit silently and it was beyond wonderful right now with him. To finally talk to someone, she sat back to the bench and sighed a bit. And it all came clear he probably thought she was different.
"Well I am glad I bumped into you"

This world is not meant for you They’re trying to catch you. Daniel’s eyebrows furrowed together as he watched what Eden was doing. She was a crazy one. He took a few steps forward, stopping just before the bench. He wasn’t going to sit down since he was feeling a bit too restless. Plus this woman seemed to trust him way to easily for his liking. Though that’s not what caught him by surprise. The next thing he knew, Eden had started singing with a tiny duck in her hand. Dan’s eyebrows smoothed out slightly, but a confused sort of look landed itself on his face instead. ‘This girl really is crazy.’ He thought to himself, looking at the young woman. His brain told him to back off a bit. Even though it was kinda sweet in a way, Dan couldn’t understand why she’d started singing. Violin, sure that made some kind of sense, but singing? That was just a whole different page to him. Maybe in her own house he could put up with it, but by a duck pond it just seemed a tad too weird. But this whole town was weird, Dan knew that from when he first arrived here. He took a small step backwards when she was nearing the end of the song. His head was still telling him to walk away and not look back. She was crazier than he first thought. But maybe it would rub off on him? Dan hoped not. This sort of thing wasn’t what he was used too.
It might’ve been a nice song, but the whole situation was a tad too weird for him. Dan didn’t move back towards the bench when Eden sat down and looked at him. If anything he felt nervous. Her eyes felt like they were stabbing holes into him. Dan looked away, focusing his gaze on the duck pond instead. Smoothing his features out, he let his mind wander for a bit before trying to respond. Hopefully she wouldn’t think that anything was wrong him. “I guess so. Why exactly? I’m not the best person to try and talk to. Let alone get along with.” Dan looked up at Eden for a few seconds. It always confused him why people said that. On some occasions, you knew the person was lying. It often led to many awkward silences before moving on. He knew he wasn’t the best person to try and talk too, especially on the first time meeting someone. Normally he’d be friendly enough to stop them from getting annoyed at him, maybe a little bit flirty depending on the gender. But at the moment, his thoughts just swirled around the fact that this girl was different from most people he met. He walked a little bit further towards the duck pond, nearly glaring at the water. Was this as uncomfortable for her as it was for him?
He would give anything to turn into a fish or a bird and just go. Not that he wasn’t able to, it just might freak the girl out a bit. Dan wasn’t particularly in the mood to walk back to the duck pond later to try and find his clothes.

Eden didn't know how sure things were going to work out, but watching him moving away she figured they would never be friends if he was afraid. Right now things were going from good to bad, but she grew silent for a moment till he said what he did. Looking at Dan she just smiled at him as she was disappointed that perhaps they would never connect. But decided to give it a try, she just had to perhaps change who she was. Since it appeared to scare everyone off, being at the right place at the wrong time kind of thing.
"I am sorry if you find me very strange Daniel, perhaps that is why I don't have friends or a boyfriend. Because I am to strange to really be happy, but I am what I am. I mean can you change things about yourself?" She said asking him a question that seemed like it made sense. As it was she didn't know what he would say about her, and it didn't really seem to matter right then. Her grey eyes looked up at the sky, as her black hair seemed to relax against her. Her heart beating with a steady beat enjoying the moment.
"Perhaps I just need practice with how to deal with people, without scaring them. Maybe if you feel like it, if you would do me the honor of helping me with that? Since you are really the only friendly person I have met since I moved here. Though with how shy I can be around people, perhaps I am a doomed case. But rather you find me strange or not, I am just glad your speaking to me. " She said rather sad right then. But refused to let herself feel sorry for herself.
It always seemed to surprise her how things worked, but running her fingers through her hair as she thought for a moment. "As for the stupid singing, I use to sing to my dogs they seem to like it least my dogs did. Helps me to calm myself as well, something which I know you find odd. But if you wish I can leave, I don't want to force you to speak to me if you don't wish to" She said giving him a way out. Since she wasn't one to force people, crossing one leg over the other as she began to put her things in her bag.

This world is not meant for you They’re trying to catch you. Dan continued to look at the little pool of water, his forehead crinkled a little. It was oh so tempting to change into something to fly off. But he resisted the impulse to. While it would be nice, it was rude and possibly the only thing he’d learnt from his parents apart from business issues were manners. Not matter what he felt, he wouldn’t change right in front of someone. Whether or not they were human, sprite or otherwise. He knew his limits and this was one of them. Daniel considered he question. “I can change myself if I wish to. But I can’t change myself for someone else. If they don’t like me for who I am, then that’s their problem.” It was ironic really. He could interpret the question two ways. One was his personality, the second was his form. Of course, Eden didn’t know about the second option unless he showed her. He could change himself, but probably not in the way that Eden was describing. His shapeshifting abilities were rare. Though, they were rare to him. But his personality? It was his choice as to whether or not he wanted to change himself. He was perfectly happy with who he was at the moment and as he said, if someone didn’t like that, then it wasn’t his problem. They would have to deal with who he was or get out of his life. He chose his friends carefully, just in case they ever asked him of something that he could never do. He was sceptical of her because…well, there was just something off about her. She seemed nice enough, just rather strange.
Snapping out of his thoughts, Daniel looked at her, a blank expression across his face. “I don’t think I could do that. Whether or not I help you, it’s up to you on whether or not can deal with people. They either accept you for who you are or they don’t. There’s not two ways around it.” A small edge was on his voice as he said this. He wasn’t at all comfortable trying to get the female friends. He wasn’t the one to do that. He even had a problem getting friends himself, but trying to get someone else friends? No way. Daniel looked up from the pond and at the female instead. “Yeah, well you are strange. There shouldn’t be anything new there.” He let a shrug fall off his shoulders. People were always strange and really, Eden shouldn’t be sad about that. Being strange was better normal and Dan wouldn’t be that interested in her in she was normal. She had to have some sort of odd quirk about her, even if she already had some already.
“It doesn’t seem that stupid. But it is a bit odd to sing out loud in the middle of a public place. Maybe next time you should mumble or hum it.” Dan suggested. Granted it wasn’t the best idea in the world, but it wouldn’t draw so much attention if she just hummed it. Loads of people hummed on a regular basis, another person shouldn’t harm it. After casting the thought from his mind, he considered leaving. It would mean that her crazy ways wouldn’t irk him anymore and they’d be a less likely chance that they’d meet again some other time seeing as they had no other way to contact each other. Dan let the thought swirl around in his mind for the time being, letting the silence build before them before answering. “Yeah, I think I might head off.” He mumbled shoving his hands back into his pockets. True he hadn’t spent all that much time here, but it was more than enough for what he came here to do. “Walk with me to my car?” The words slipped out before he could stop them and he almost clapped a hand over his mouth. His hand only twitched in his pocket as he stopped himself, but a small look of panic crossed over his fave for a brief second.

Eden felt like an idiot and when he said he was going she was rather disappointed, perhaps she disappointed him. She didn't know what her life would be in the future, but then hearing what he said everything that he said. "Being true to yourself, not changing yourself for anyone is something I have always done Daniel, I don't let people tell me how to change my personality. Unfortunately it's just me to sing out loud, though I know I am perhaps to strange. But I can't change myself any more then you can change yourself" She said with a smile, showing she wasn't angry at all.
But then asked if she wanted to walk him to his car, but she read his body language and could tell that he didn't want her to come. It helped her keep herself safe most of the time, unless of course someone was high or drunk. She couldn't read the body of anyone then. She bit her lip and thought about how to reply to this. And taking a deep silent breath, her grey eyes looking away from his. And decided to call him on what she saw from him. So looking back up she smiled.
"Well I would really like that, but by the looks you appear to regret asking me. If you prefer I do not walk you to your car it's okay, but if you want me to let me know." She said looking at him softly. It always seemed to be rather hard, her heart beating hoping he would change his mind and want her to come but then had an idea. "Daniel, would you want to get some coffee with me sometime? I promise to stop being weird" She offered. "Would be on me" She said with a rather cheerful disposition.

This world is not meant for you They’re trying to catch you. “Well, whatever you do, just be careful. Some people don’t like strange, it scares them off a bit.” Dan said, eying her again. He’d learnt from experience. The stranger you are, the more likely people are going to back away and keep their distance. He’d seen it happen to other people and now he’d had it happen to him. It wasn’t really that pleasant to be honest, but he could see why others might find it a bit attractive. As for him, it almost put him off as much as clinginess did. “I can change myself more than you think.” He whispered, looking down at the pond again. The ducks were swimming around in it again as well as the few fish underneath. Dan didn’t care whether or not she heard him, she just seemed a bit naïve about the world around her. Especially in a town like this. This then made him wonder as to whether or not she knew about most of the people in this town. There had been no questions about it for the entirety of their conversation so far. A small idea struck him as to whether or not he should show her what some of the people in this town could do. He quickly shook away this thought as he decided she wasn’t worth the time. If she really had any clue or any reason to be suspicious he would show here. If that time ever came, he would, but the energy wouldn’t be worth it.
Dan looked up from the pond when Eden started speaking, his eyebrow raised. Well when she put it like that, it didn’t seem quite as bad. “Whether you come with me or not, is completely your choice. I’m not making you.” Dan said as bluntly as he could. Turning to leave, he shoved his hands deeper into his trouser pockets. It wasn’t until a few steps later that he heard the female speak again. He felt his shoulders sag a bit. Couldn’t she see he wanted to get out of here? He had stuff to do. Like get ready for work, not to mention help his sister out with a few things. He was lucky that he’d managed to get away this long without someone calling him up. Dan turned round to face her, his response right on his lips. “I can’t. I’m busy all of this week. If you really want to meet up again, I’ll find you.” It was the best he could do without saying ‘No’. He heard the cheerfulness in her voice and it seemed like the best sort of thing to say. Plus he didn’t really want to give her his mobile number either. It seemed too weird to give it to someone he’d only just met, let alone had no basic connection with. From what he’d seen, they’d had very little in common apart from the occasional drink. “You’ve just contradicted what you said earlier. If you’re going to try and stop yourself from being weird, you’re letting other people shape you.”
He then turned to leave again, his footfalls slow. He was wondering whether or not she would truly try to catch up with him or not. It would be interesting to see since she seemed so keen to try and keep him around. He’d noticed the way she’d looked at him earlier and it kinda felt good. But the fact that she seemed a little strange made him keep the thought to the back of his mind. If she truly did want to keep him around, she would have to put up a bigger fight.

Eden was taken back by everything he said and she had to admit that he had a lot of points to her, pleasing someone else. Changing for someone else wasn't worth it, but watching him she decided to just walk beside him for as long as she could. Eden knew she had to grow up, to stop being such a kid. She thought she had grown up, but today proved she was nothing but just a kid inside an adults body. She was never really good with guys. But deep down she knew that had to change, in order to be with a guy.
The wheels in her head were turning, as she began to think of a million things. But one thing she never did, was to think before she spoke. Perhaps that was why she was always one to talk so much, because she just said every little thing on her mind. And knew she could never do that again, other wise she truly would never get any friends. Being single was hard enough, but to have no one to party with? have drinks with? that was rough. The breeze picked up a little bit as she relaxed walking.
She had never admitted to anyone that she was wrong about anything, but perhaps he deserved it. Since they did get off on the wrong and strange foot, but she had heard what he said before. That he could change himself, she had no idea what that meant but didn't ask him about it. It always amazed her when she met new people how they talked with her, but it was nice to truly hear an honest opinion every once in a while. Since she really did like to know what people thought and felt. No matter how painful the truth could be.
"You make a good case Daniel, to change ones self for another isn't right. The person should like the other for who he or she is flaws and all. I guess in time we will see, but I really do hope that you bump into me again. It would be nice to get to know you better, I mean we don't have to talk about personal things. Since we do not know one another, but could talk about what we like to do. How we relax, that sort of thing." Eden said with a rather kind smile on her face.

This world is not meant for you They’re trying to catch you. What he said before seemed to keep Eden quiet for a number of minutes. Dan was grateful for the silence, no matter how awkward it might’ve been. He let her think in peace, letting himself be with his own thoughts instead of sharing them with another person. He let out a small breath as a small gust of wind picked up and danced around them. Despite it being cold, the cool breeze felt pleasant on his skin. It was one of those things which made him smile, despite what had just gone on. After a while, he felt his skin prickle a little, which was obviously telling him that he was cold. Dan didn’t think anything of it and kept walking. There was no use moaning about it, not now anyway. He didn’t necessarily want to start up that sort of conversation now. They were about half way through the park now and getting closer to the gate. His car wasn’t parked that far away from here. Dan chastised himself for bringing it. His house wasn’t all that far away from here and he could do with a walk. He could’ve easily walked to his next destination and then home again. He needed to pick a few things up from the store before heading home. But the thought of carrying a load of heavy bags home didn’t appeal to him.
Daniel kept his face forward, listening intently to what the female was saying. She had a point. It would’ve been nice to get to know each other, but he was still rather put off by their meeting just now. ‘But one of way of relaxing for me is something that would scare your hair off.’ He thought. There were other ways too, but their common interests were probably all too different. Would they be able to connect on any sort of level if they didn’t have anything to connect with? “Our interests would probably be rather different, doesn’t that put you off a bit?” It certainly did for him. It caused problems. Problems he didn’t really like all that much and it made things that little bit more difficult to find a good way to start a conversation. “But if I ever need to talk to someone and everyone else isn’t free, I’ll seek you out at the bar was it?” If he remembered correctly, she worked at the bar in this small town. The one thing he did like was a good drink, so there was a chance that they’d run into each other there. He would have to find time though, things were a bit hectic at the moment.
It wasn’t long before they got outside of the park. Dan could quickly spot his car further down the road. He smiled at it. While it wasn’t as good as the one he had back in Australia, it was the best they could find after coming straight here. The one they had used to travel from the airport to their house was currently back home in the garage. But this one was a black, 2009 Rolls-Royce Ghost. His father had said he could borrow it for the day since Dan would probably be using it to travel in the future. Daniel was happy to use it, but the fact that he had to use it to travel, no matter how comfortable it was, was a different story. He wasn’t completely sure why he needed to travel anyway, his father did most of the work anyway. He'd made no mention of just how rich he was to Eden apart from at the very start of their conversation on messenger. He wondered if she'd realize just how wealthy he was from his car, or even if she remembered what he'd typed that day.
