Bree had been exceptionally bored today. She just sat, alone in her florist, doing whatever. There were no customers to tend to; there hadn't been all day. It had just been her, wandering around aimlessly, perhaps doing restocking and inventory here and there. But nothing seemed to help her; it had been so very tedious. Brent was working, so she couldn't really go to the cafe and whine. Which sucked, but nyeh, didn't matter really.
And then, around half an hour ago, Bree had the most wonderful idea. There was no one there; and it didn't look likely that there would be. She had a guitar in the back room, and her little notebook where she wrote her lyrics. She could write a little bit whilst no one was here, couldn't she? She was entitled to do that? Of course. It was her florist, after all. And she could stop if someone came in. Well, preferably before they came in. But whatever.
She traipsed out to the back room that also functioned as a kind of office/break room, and shut the door behind her. Sure, the door was thin, and yes, it was possible that she could be heard if someone did come in, but Bree wasn't really thinking about that at all at that moment. She just needed to have a good old scribble at her notebook and play a few chords.
So that was exactly what she did. It was a song that she'd been working on for at least a month, and yet only had...about a quarter of. So Bree had writer's block, and just...didn't think she was good in the first place. Sue her. Maybe this little session in the back would help her out a little but, with the writer's block. She had the first verse, and wrote the song as a duet, but...she was having a little trouble with the rest.
"Okay, so the first chord is C#," she murmured to herself, writing it down in her notebook and beginning to play the song. C#, to Ab, and then back to C#. Easy enough. And it fit quite nicely with the melody she was singing, so it was...okay, so far.

I told myself you were right for me, But I felt so lonely in your company. It had been roughly a week since her ‘accident’. Lily was still a little sore in various places and a bandage was still wrapped around her wrist. But that hadn’t stopped her form showing her face round the town. She had decided to pay a visit to the local florist on her day off. Her mother had told her she’d needed some new bulbs for the garden after what had happened and Lily felt like it was her job to go and get them. She wasn’t quite sure if they sold them here, since it seemed like the primarily sold bunches of flowers instead of the bulbs. But it wouldn’t hurt to ask. Plus if she found anything she liked, she could always take it back home. Maybe a lily or two. At that thought, Lily let out a small laugh. Sometimes she had to laugh at that. She did like the flower, they were pretty, but the pollen could get a little annoying. She thought about this for a second or two. Maybe they were the flower to get. They didn’t have any in the garden at the moment, no matter how small it was. It would be nice to get something big and bright in there. All the others were small and died after a week or two. If not, then she could ask about flowers that lived longer than most. Lilies were just one thing she thought of, she was sure that there would be others.
Reaching her destination, Lily looked in through the door of the shop. No-one was currently in there, but the sign said it was open. She looked at her watch and pulled her the sleeve of her cardigan down. It was still early anyway, they couldn’t have closed now. Shrugging, she pushed the door open and stepped inside. Three things hit her at the same time. The first thing she thought of was the smell. The smell of loads of flowers hit her like a wave. It was nice, but she’d never smelt so many flowers before. If anything it overwhelmed her and made her smile at the same time. The second thing that hit her was the array of colour that made it known to her eyes. There were flowers all over the shop, of all colour and size. It broadened her smile that little bit more. The last thing was the sound. Coming from the back of the shop, obviously behind the door was the sound of an instrument. A guitar if she remembered correctly.
It was a lovely sound. Both the guitar and female voice filled shop. It suited the atmosphere of the shop quite well and Lily was intrigued to see whose voice it was exactly. She stood there awkwardly for a few more seconds, just listening to the voice. They would’ve heard her come in by now. She left the female to her own devices until she was ready to come out. Until then, Lily would have a look around in a search for some bulbs or at the very least, some decent flowers. She let herself relax a bit as she walked around, letting her senses take in all that they could. Looking at the various types of flowers, Lily smiled even more. She had a feeling that she would be coming back here often. She could see why her mother loved looking after the garden. Though it wasn’t really the time of year to be planting more, they could at least try to grow them inside if they were small enough. If they couldn’t then they’d have to wait until next year.
Unfortunately, Lily’s concentration didn’t last long and she ended up tripping over something. The certain something being her own feet near a row of plant pots. She stumbled, very nearly crashing into the pots. She managed to dodge out of the way just in time and fell over. “Ow.” She mumbled, rubbing her wrist. The doctor had told her to try not to strain it or land on it oddly otherwise the stitches could come undone or the cut could split open. She pulled down the sleeve and inspected the bandage, staying seated on the floor. There didn’t seem to be any bleeding. It wasn’t that hard of a fall anyway, but she was wary that anything could set it off. Lily then started to get up, dusting herself off as she did so. After doing so, she turned around and looked towards the door. Which was now open.

She'd just set her pencil down after writing down what little more of the song she'd been able to create, when she heard a sort of crash coming from the main room. The water sprite quirked a brow in the direction of the door to the back room/break room/her office. Well, that was odd. She hadn't even heard the front door go. Normally she would have, but...maybe she'd gotten a little bit wrapped up in what she was doing to notice it.
Anyway, back to the crash. It certainly hadn't sounded good, and is was really worrying her, for some reason. And, no, it wasn't the fact that she could get sued if something wet wrong and someone got hurt. She wasn't that self-centered. Well, she wasn't self centered at all, but whatever. She was worried about the person who had made that crash. What if they were hurt, or something? That wasn't good, no, not at all.
She walked over to the door, and quickly swung it open to see a woman, probably not much older than herself, sprawled on the ground near where she kept her flower pots, inspecting a bandage. She must have tripped over them, or something. Oh, god. Why, Bree, why. she thought to herself as she cautiously made her way over. Why the hell did she keep flower pots on the ground? Why not put them somewhere where they couldn't be tripped over? Oh, god, she was such an idiot.
"Oh my god, sorry!" she said as she aprroached. "Are you okay?" She gestured toward the bandage on the woman's arm, giving a worried shake of her head. "That really doesn't look good," she stated. "Do you want some ice, or anything?"

I told myself you were right for me, But I felt so lonely in your company. Lily heard a voice from behind her and looked in the direction it came from. Ah, so this is was the person responsible for the singing and guitar playing. She offered the girl a small smile. She was roughly the same age as Lily, blonde hair, blue eyes and kind of pretty. She then realized what the girl said and quickly shook her head. “It’s fine. I didn’t land that badly anyway. It’s better than it was a week ago.” She was glad that she hadn’t otherwise she’d have to go back to the hospital. Lily nearly shuddered at the thought, but managed to restrain herself. In the condition that she was in, it wasn’t a memory she wanted to remember for a long time. Though she would always have something to be able to remind of it, the cut was most likely going to leave a scar on her arm. Another one to add to her small collection. Lily pushed that thought straight out of her mind. The last thing she wanted were those thoughts coming back. Lily stood up properly and inspected the damage on her outfit. Nothing apart from a bit of dust which she started brushing off.
Dusting herself off even more, Lily looked down at herself. Nothing was damaged and the pots looked relatively unharmed apart from one that had overturned. Her blue jeans probably had a mark or two on the back, but she wouldn’t worry about it just now. She could live with that. She bent down and turned the fallen pot upright. Turning towards the female, she gave the girl a grinned. “See? Completely fine.” Lily twirled around once before standing still. It there were any problems, she would sort them out later. She let the grin fade to a small smile, intending to ask about why she came here in the first place. But first, introductions were needed. “I’m Lily by the way. Thanks for showing some concern. Not everyone’s that nice.” She inclined her head the females direction, the smile still on her face. While most of the people here were friendly enough, it was rare a random stranger would show little concern, even if they were in a shop. Now that she had introduced herself, Lily felt a little bit better about asking.
“I was wondering whether or not you do bulbs in here? It’s probably a stupid question, but I’ve never really been flower shopping.” Lily laughed a little nervously, tucking a strand of escaped orange hair behind her ear. “Preferably a type of flower that blooms for a long period of time. If not, anything you recommend is fine.” She didn’t really want to be picky, but the longer they lasted, the better.

Bree nodded uncertainly when the woman reassured her that, yeah, she was okay. Bree still felt relatively guilty, though. She really shouldn't keep those pots on the floor. It was rather silly, keeping them there. It was kind of obvious that it was just...not done. She needed to make a mental note to put them on a higher shelf, just for safety's sake. It was stupid of her to put them there.
She couldn't help but laugh slightly when the girl gave a quick spin, after dusting herself off and checking for any damage. "Well, just as long as you're sure you're okay, she snickered lightly. And that was all it came down to, really. As long as the female was okay; Bree wasn't really too worried about it. She'd insisted that she was fine, too, so...she'd let it go, for once.
Lily? That was a gorgeous name. Bree loved flower names so much, and not just because she was a florist. She just associated the name with the beauty of the plant that it was synonymous with, because, hey, the name actually brought a mental image of a beautiful Lily into Bree's mind. That was what a name was supposed to do, wasn't it? "Lily's a beautiful name," she said. "I'm Bree. And yeah, it's no trouble. I'd like to think that someone would do the same for me if I was in that situation."
Her teeth caught on her lip as she listened to Lily's request. Bulbs? Bree was sure she had some of those; she'd put them out when she restocked earlier, she was certain. She nodded quickly. "Uh, yeah, I have some of those around here," she said, and motioned Lily toward a shelf where she had a few boxes full. "Tulips are good ones. They can last quite a while, y'know. Or...or maybe Daffodils? There are a few good ones to choose from." She nodded in accompaniment with her words, giving Lily a wide smile as she did so. She hoped she'd been helpful enough; but she'd be willing to help out a little more if she had to.

I told myself you were right for me, But I felt so lonely in your company. Lily nodded once. She was pretty sure she was alright, otherwise she would’ve said so. Or the female would have seen that she wasn’t. Either one would work. Thankfully, she was just fine and she was glad that she managed to get a laugh out of the young lady. It was better than an awkward silence at least. Distracting herself a bit, Lily looked at the flowers she was standing by. She hadn’t had a proper look round yet, but there was always a chance she could’ve missed something. “It was my fault anyway. I guess I tripped over my own feet.” She glared at her converse covered feet for a few seconds before smoothing out her features and looking back up. She really should’ve been more careful. Lily knew she could trip over thin air and fall over without trying and thinking this wouldn’t be any different was a bad idea. She was clumsy and she embarrassed herself on many occasions by tripping over things. It had gotten better over time, she used to be a lot worse, but she still hated it as much as she did a few years ago.
Grinning at Bree, Lily let the name flit around her mind for a few seconds. “Thank you. Bree’s an unusual name, but it fits you like a glove.” It was true, she couldn’t image the female having another name. Though it was normally hard for her to picture someone have a different name from the one they had, but sometimes she thought otherwise. Bree wasn’t a name she heard often, if at all and it was pleasant to meet someone who’s name wasn’t all that common either. Though it sounded exactly like the type of cheese. Not that she would mention it out loud, the girl probably had enough comments about that to last her a life time. “Thank you all the same. It’s very nice to meet you Bree.” She offered a small smile at the girl. The atmosphere was a little bit calmer now that they had both made their introductions. There wasn’t that awkward feeling of not knowing what to call each other anymore. Well, she couldn’t speak for Bree, but Lily certainly felt that way. Maybe she was just used to people so that this was now a normal thing for her to feel.
It might have been a bit of a stupid question, but Lily just had to make sure that they did have some in stock. Maybe she would’ve found some if she’d been able to finish looking around without tripping over, but she felt a little relaxed now that she’d got her answer. Following Bree over to a shelf with boxes full of bulbs, she looked across the selection they had to offer. There was a wide enough range for her to be able to choose from easily. Reading the labels, she listened to what Bree was saying. Standing up, Lily smiled back at the girl before replying. “I’ll take some of both then, about 20 or so of each. A few of the Lily ones as well.” She explained, pointing at the relevant boxes. “Oh and a mixed bunch of the purple and red carnations and the pink Gerberas as well, thank you.” She had seem them when she’d been walking past and they looked pretty. She’d decided that they might look nice located somewhere in their kitchen.

Bree gave an understanding nod when Lily explained that she'd probably tripped over her own feet. That made sense; Bree could relate to that. That always happened to her. She had no idea why or how; it just did. The perks of being a daydreamer, she supposed.
"Happens to the best of us," she said, chuckling slightly. Everyone had their moments. Just a shame that Bree's were...constants, not moments. She swore, Brent was rubbing off on her in more ways than he should. The fire sprite was just irreparably clumsy, and it seemed to be contagious. She needed to remind herself to spend less time with the guy.
She smiled widely. "Thanks, Lily," she said. Personally, she'd hated her name, right from when she was younger, but she didn't have the heart to change it. She thought that it'd be kind of mean to her parents. They liked the name, and had given it to her as...as a kind of...gift, maybe? Meh. But hey, she liked her middle name. She could have gone by that, although she preferred not to.
"It's really nice meeting you too; I don't normally get many people around these parts, so...yeah." She shrugged. The shop wasn't really a busy place; not many residents of Honey Tree Town were constantly after flowers. They were just gifts and decorations to them, nothing necessary.
Bree listened attentively to Lily's words, and nodded, snickering a little bit. "Wow, you're flower-happy. Not that I'm complaining; it's less for me to count when I do inventory, right?" she said as she picked up what Lily wanted. Yes, Bree was a rather lazy woman. Problem? "It's actually quite nice, y'know, to have someone come in and have a binge. Makes me feel like I'm doing my job right."

I told myself you were right for me, But I felt so lonely in your company. Lily watched the female nod at her explanation and was slightly relieved that the girl hadn’t asked questions. It would’ve been rather embarrassing to have to repeat what had happened that day. In fact, there were very few people who knew about what had happened. Her manager for one. She hadn’t been able to come into work for a few days because of her injury and making up some flimsy excuse definitely wouldn’t have worked. But her manager knew how clumsy she was and had been rather understanding about the whole thing. Lily didn’t know what she had told the rest of the staff members working there, but she figured it must have been a good excuse because when she had returned yesterday, no questions had been asked. “I guess so.” Lily mumbled, nodding ever so slightly. Hers seemed to be more often than just moments. It was infuriating at times, but she’d dealt with it this long after getting into several accidents. Not all of them were necessarily her fault. Most of them were, but not all of them. She was always careful if she was around glass. That was the worst thing to fall into and break, as she had found out.
The fire sprites smile widened ever so slightly as Bree accepted her compliment. Whether the person felt like it was true or not to themselves, Lily always liked giving people compliments. Or at least tried too. Sometimes it was rather hard, especially if said person rubbed her the wrong way. She tried to focus on people’s good points, she tried. But her temper got in the way and she would usually explode with the pent up anger. It was a wonder her parents hadn’t got her any help for her anger when she was younger. She wasn’t necessarily violent to anyone, but she would shout. A lot. Lily’s attention snapped back to Bree when she heard the female speak up. She frowned ever so slightly at her words? “Aww, why not? This place is lovely! I’m not normally a flowerly person, but still, it’s a fantastic little shop.” She might have only walked in a couple of minutes ago, but she could already tell that it was a lovely little shop. Lily spun around a little slower this time, taking a better look at the shop contents. It might be a small little thing, but it certainly packed a punch in terms of friendliness and variety.
Lily let out a small laugh. “Ah, you’ve caught me. I love these things.” She held up her hands in a mock surrender as she slowly followed the girl. “Actually, the bulbs are for my mother. I, er, accidently killed her previous ones and I felt it necessary to buy her new ones. One of the bunches is for her as well, the other’s going in my room. It goes well with the colouring.” She scratched the back of her neck as she explained her situation. It was slightly awkward, stating the real reason why she came in in the first place. Lily hoped that Bree wouldn’t think badly of her. This shop was the only place to sell fresh flowers and it made her feel better getting them a place where the staff actually knew what they were doing. Or at least, partially. “But it certainly feels nice. I might have to stop by again sometime. Make a few more purchases.” She wasn’t exactly rolling in money, but if she ever got the chance she would. Lily looked around the shop again. There were plenty of flowers in here that she would’ve liked to try out, so she would definitely have to come in here again.
“How much does that come to?” Lily looked at Bree, pulling her purse out of her back pocket.

Bree just nodded then, not sure what to say next. By the way that Lily mumbled her response, it was kind of obvious that, hey, she was clumsy like Bree was. That was okay. There had to be some clumsy people in the world, or else there would be no variation. And, like most people said, variety is the spice of life and all that. But still, she could see why it would be embarrassing for someone to admit that, yeah, it happened all the time. Bree was herself, sometimes.
She noticed that the girl's smile widened slightly on the acceptance of the compliment. That, of course, made Bree smile too. Normally, she didn't really like being given compliments; most of them weren't actually true anyway. Well, not to her. Others might have believed they were true, but...Bree didn't think like that. It was just part of her nature that she rarely accepted compliments. But, hey, if it made other people feel good when she did, then okay.
Her smile widened. "Well, thanks. I try to make it nice in here," she said, laughing a slight amount. "I dunno...I guess that it's the fact that flowers aren't a necessity to most people. But that doesn't matter to me. It's just nice to do for the sake of it. Bring a bit of beauty to the world, yes?" She gave a small wave of her hand. Beauty was a nice addition to the world; It had to be admitted.
The water sprite laughed some as Lily explained the reason she had first come in, and gave a dismissive flap of her hand. She understood just fine; she'd done that a lot when she'd started out as a florist. Over-watering was her problem. She used to do it all the time. "Aw, that happens to everyone at some point," she snickered lightly. "I used to do that all the time. And, yeah, fresh flowers are a really nice addition to most rooms."
She wandered over to behind the counter, tapping the buttons on the till so that the drawer snapped open and the price came up on her little screen. Now, the problem with Bree was, she didn't like charging too much for what she was selling. And, well, Lily had bought a lot. ...She could ignore the price meter this one time, couldn't she? It wasn't illegal. At least, not that she knew of.
"I think fifteen quid should suffice." Bree said, kind of hoping that that wasn't too much to pay for about...a hundred packets of bulbs and a coupe of bunches of flowers. Well, okay, maybe not a hundred packets of bulbs; that was exaggerated. But still.

I told myself you were right for me, But I felt so lonely in your company. It was all smiles today and Lily loved it. There was nothing better than a good smile, even if something hadn’t been said. No-one said anything for a few seconds, but that was fine by her. The silence didn’t seemed that strained at all. Okay, it might have been a bit weird since they barely knew each other, but it didn’t bother Lily that much. Silences were rarely awkward for her with other people unless they weren’t all that friendly and the atmosphere was hostile. But it was hard to be hostile in a flower shop, what with all the smells going on. That and the colours in here were pretty amazing. Lily was tempted to find a chair and sit in the middle of the shop until closed, the place was rather calming after a while. There was so much to look at as well, that it was getting harder to resist that temptation. She held back on it for a couple more minutes, hopefully they would get a good conversation started and she would eventually get to spend more time here.
Lily let out a small laugh at Bree’s statements. It was true. Flowers did bring an essence of beauty in the world. It was just a shame more people didn’t seem to realize that. “You’ve done a fantastic job at it too. Especially at the not caring part. Exactly how many species of flower are here?” Lily looked around the shop again. There must have been quite a few, more than she could count from the glance she took around. So many colours and smells, it was a wonder it didn’t get overwhelming at times. But then again, maybe it was because there were so many that it couldn’t. You were always smelling something different, the staff must get used to it after a while. “It must be a nice place to work.” Her voice was a little louder than a mumble so that Bree could just about here it. The bar didn’t have any flowers. It had people. Lots and lots of people. Kind of like the florists. Instead of flowers, there were people. Lily giggled slightly at the thought of all the people at the bar turning into flowers.
Lily was going to explain what she had done to the flowers to end up killing them. By setting them on fire. Internally, she grimaced at the memory of when her powers had raged out of control in the garden. Though it hadn’t been the first time and technically, this time it wasn’t her fault exactly. She opened her mouth to explain, but closed it. It was probably not a good idea to explain what had happened and leave it down to something like overwatering or something. Plus, Bree might think she was crazy if she started rambling on about setting the garden on fire. Instead, her head bobbed up and down in a small attempt to nod. “I hope so. Some of the rooms in the house need a good bunch of flowers in besides the garden.” Lily let out a small laugh at it. “If I ever need some advice about flowers, I’ll be sure to ask.”
Lily followed the water sprite over to the counter and watched as she tapped in some numbers. She opened up her purse, pulling out a few notes ready for what the price was going to be. A little part of her was nagging at her for buying too much and that she wouldn’t have enough to be able to cover it. However, even when Bree told her the price, that nagging feeling changed. It didn’t go away but changed into saying that fifteen wasn’t enough for the amount she’d chosen. Pulling out the notes for about twenty, she handed the money over. “Keep the change.” It was the only way she’d feel a little bit better about it. “Can I have a bag for these? I don’t really want to carry an armful of flowers and bulbs half way across town.”. It would be a bit difficult getting the bunches of flowers in the bag without damaging them, but hopefully they would work something out.

Bree just loved the amount of apparent happiness that was radiating throughout the room; it was rarely like this. Sure, people were polite and stuff, but they were rarely as friendly. It was such a lovely change from the normal customer who just requested what they wanted, paid and left. With Lily, Bree was having a conversation of sorts. It was actually really, really nice. Things like this just didn't happen.
She gave a vague sort of wave at the question. Exactly how many species? Bree, if she was completely honest, had lost track. She just ordered so many different varieties because, well, pretty things. She couldn't help it. Besides, she needed something to sell, didn't she? And she always made sure that she didn't buy more than she could afford. She liked to think that she was pretty shrewd when it came to selling and buying and stuff like that.
"Can I tell you something, I actually lost count a while ago." she said with a slightly sheepish laugh underscoring her words. She had a problem, she swore. she needed to stop buying so many different breeds just because they were pretty. "It can be a nice place to work, depends on who comes in and how much you have to do and things like that." Yeah, there had been some days where she just wanted to pack it in entirely. But she could never bring herself to do it because, no matter how much she hated her job, she loved it at the same time.
She smiled brightly, and nodded in agreement. Flowers really did brighten up places, it was pretty cool how that worked. She put it all on the different shapes and colors that flowers had to them. It was really awesome how varied all the different species were. "Well, you're more than welcome to come back ad ask should you have any questions or anything," the water sprite said, pushing her hair behind her ear. "I'm more than happy to help."
Bree was kind of worried that she was charging too much for what she sold. She wasn't very good with pricing at all; she really needed someone who was good at maths to help her out with that. But she never really got round to asking anyone to help her out with it.She just found herself either too busy or too lazy to do that. But, apparently, she hadn't charged enough, because she found a twenty pound note in her hand and an instruction to 'keep the change'.
Wow, that hadn't happened before. Ever. She wasn't quite sure how to react. Did she refuse to keep the change? Did she gratefully accept? She really, really didn't know. But she couldn't help but feel that it would be rude to do that to someone who had so openly overpaid and told her to keep what they didn't need to pay. So, she reluctantly nodded, and put the note in the till.
"Uh, thank you," she said. She was kind of surprised, to say the least. So surprised that she almost missed the question. "Yeah, I think I have a few bags. Hold on a sec," she replied, and went out to the back room, where she found a few of the bags she used when she carried he flowers, with small partitions so that the flowers could stand up properly and wouldn't get crushed in the bag. She spotted her guitar out of the corner of her eye and sighed. It didn't look like she would get that song finished today. She wasn't in the mood to write anymore. Oh well. There was always tomorrow.
She returned to the counter, producing the bags with a small smile. "Will these do?" she asked, placing them n the counter. She was pretty sure they'd be okay, but she wanted to make sure that Lily was alright carrying them home.

I told myself you were right for me, But I felt so lonely in your company. Even if this day didn’t turn out to go exactly as planned, Lily was still have a lovely conversation. It wasn’t all that difficult for her to find someone to have a good conversation with considering how friendly she thought herself to be, but it was rare to have one where the words just seemed to flow. Bree must be one of those people that the words just seemed to come out in an untangled mess for. It was rather…calming really. That was the difficult part in certain conversations. Trying to find words to fit what they were talking about without them coming out in ways that ended confusing the both of them. Lily’s thought process got a bit jumbled at times, especially if she was excited about something.
Lily let out a laugh at the female’s honesty. “Is that so? Well I’d be the same really. So many pretty flowers around here, it would be hard to me to keep myself from buying as many as possible.” She took a small glance around the shop again. She had no clue as to how many different types there were in here. At least fifty or so, maybe a bit more than that in the back of the shop if they had any storage space. Then there were the bulbs with probably added one or two different ones onto that. All in all, there were a load of flowers here. Lily let a shrug fall off her shoulders. “It can be like that for most places though. You do get one or two…How shall I put it? Odd customers from time to time, no matter where you work.” The bar was often like that. But once you separated the good guys from the bad ones, the place was much nicer. It still didn’t mean that people didn’t kick up a fuss from time to time, but still, if you dealt with it quick enough, you could get it over and done with without much trouble. She was sure that it was like for most places one way or another.
She felt a grin pull at her lips and nodded. “That’s good to here, I’ll probably be back sometime when I need some more flowers.” Next time she’d most likely be here of her own accord instead of her mother shoving her out of the door to get flowers. Now that she’d discovered the place and made some sort of a friend, she would definitely want to come back. Not to mention she wanted to have a little bit more of a look around. There were far too many flowers in this place for her to look at just once. Plus, not matter how strong the scent was, it was nice. Better than the certain smells in her house that’s for sure. That reminded her! “Though, I do have some questions for you before I go later.” Lily dug around in her pocket for her phone and pulled it out, clicking a few buttons to bring up a notebook of sorts on her phone. Her mother had asked to her to ask a few questions so that they wouldn’t kill the flowers before they’d even start growing. “First off, do they need any sort of special treatment; plant foods, water, soil that sort of thing? What sort of conditions would be best for each and where’s the best place to keep them when they’re starting to grow?” Her mother was no expert. While she’d grown flowers before, each species was different and needed their own sort of care.
“You’re welcome.” Lily get her grin fade to a ‘normal’ smile and nodded as Bree went off to get the bags, which meant she had a few seconds to herself. Taking this time, she relaxed a little bit and pulled her sleeve up to look at her bandage. She hadn’t got all that long to look at it last time and she didn’t want to find out that it had started bleeding while she’d been talking to Bree. A part of her, no matter how relaxed, was holding its breath. As Lily’s gaze fell on her arm, she let out a small sigh of relief. The bandage was still the off white colour it had been when she’d left the house. She pushed the sleeve of her jacket down to her hand, just as Bree came back through the door. Lily looked over the bags and nodded. “They’re perfect, thank you.” She’d have to carry it on her other arm so that it wouldn’t put any strain of the wound, but still, it was better than nothing. “Um, I don’t know how private this is, but when I came in, I thought I heard the sound of someone playing the guitar. I’m guess that was you?” As far as Lily could see, there was no-one else in the shop that day.
