Rebecca Jane was born to one of the oldest and wealthiest families of Honey Tree. That being said she was raised to uphold a certain dignity. She was expected by her family to be better than her peers. She was forced to strive for success in everything she did. This led her to alienate a lot of people because she found they weren’t up to her level of maturity or work ethic.
Bec is often considered the Cold hearted ice bitch, or ice queen by kids her age. She thinks highly of herself and doesn’t hide the fact. She’s very straightforward and completely honest with everyone which is why people think of her as mean. She simply doesn’t bother with people’s stupidity.
She hates unnecessary drama, so she says but her favorite pastime in the high school is to watch people’s secrets and lies engulf them she loves to feed fires and watch people go up in flames. She just hates that people bother with lies she hates liars and will expose any liar she finds.
She uses her powers as a trickster to her advantage and for her personal entertainment. When she was twelve she found she could make people see what she wanted them to and used it in her personal war against liars.
The reason Bec is so against liars is her family. Her family is built on a foundation of lies, her father cheats on her mother – a fact she found out in third grade and her mother pretends to not know. The two parents spend their time ignoring Bec unless they’re criticizing her which feeds the drive to be the perfect.
Rebecca feels completely alone in the world. She claims to not care and puts up a front as such but really she just wants to belong and be enough.
