Dear Journal,
Hiya. My name's Olivia, but all my friends call me Olive. Or at least, they used to. I haven't seen them in a year, and I really miss them.
Honey Tree Town is so different from Maryland. I should probably have mentioned this earlier, but I'm from Maryland, the tiny state in the USA that no one seems to care about. I can relate to that. No one ever seems to notice me.
Anyways, I've come to Honey Tree because I want to be an actress. No, scratch that, I wan't to be a singer, but I wouldn't mind performing in a musical. You may be wondering why I would go to Honey Tree if my dream is to perform. Why not New York? Well, it's quite simple really, I need to start my life. I suppose I need to start somewhere, and singing in the cafe is a pretty good way to practice. I think.
So... my family. Well, I have an older brother that lives in Washington D.C. now, and my parents are raising my adopted ten year old sister. My grandparents live in Michigan, and we're pretty close.
My personality is pretty quiet, except when I'm on stage. I can never seem to be witty or clever, or even funny. It's actually kind of upsetting. I'm fairly optimistic, except for in the morning. Anytime before nine am is sleep time and I tend to be a grouch before then. I guess I'm pretty friendly, and I don't like making many enemies. When it comes to my work, I'm always ready to go. Some people think I'm to obsessed with organization and being neat and orderly, but that's only because they haven't seen my room. Of course, everything outside of my room that belongs to me is usually orderly. I like wearing vintage style outfits a bit more, and I'm somewhat conservative. I happen to be a Jew, even if I don't look the part. In school, I was pretty hardworking. I was in all AP classes in High School and managed to get As and Bs year round.
My powers are under control by now. I can hover about a foot above the ground, and I've tried flying, but it doesn't really work.. I can make breezes and gusts of wind too, but nothing to serious. For example, I cannot make a tornado.
So that's about it. I'm not that interesting of a person. Sorry if I bored you, Journal.
Bye,
Olivia Nicole Reynolds
