Ilyas has trouble fitting in, and quite honestly, he doesn’t even bother to try fitting in. He’s not used to staying at one place for a longer time anyway, but he doesn’t always have a choice.
He keeps to himself most of the time, unless he truly has no other choice (in case of a really bad injury, for instance). He’s afraid to bond with anything, or anyone, although you won’t find him admitting to this. He very much lingers in the past; it’s been nearly three years since his wife and daughter passed away, but to this day, he hasn’t managed to find closure yet. People are treated coldly by him, especially in the beginning.

Despite his surly exterior, there are still things he likes/enjoys:
He likes to cook and drinks enough for a small army. Travelling and hunting are also well liked.

You’ll most likely find Ilyas at a bar during the night, or near a watery environment.

Ilyas is quite difficult to befriend. He keeps people at bay and mostly doesn’t even allow as much as a conversation. He’s convinced he doesn’t need friends. But after a few glasses of alcohol, he tends to open up. Some.

He doesn’t quite bother about having enemies either. If you get in his way, he will make it clear to you, though. And do not abuse a woman in his presence; you’ll be on his blacklist.

Ilyas stays far away from any feelings that involve love. When asked about it, he’ll most likely say he’s still married, even though his wife is no longer alive. He’s determined to stay alone for the rest of his life, but craves for affection more than he leads to believe.

Lily and Ilyas

Seeing as Lily works at the bar I can imagine them bumping into each other a number of times. Not necessarily making much of a conversation since Lily can be pretty swamped with other people and Ilyas can be pretty hard to talk too. Not that she hasn't tried on the odd occasion. Maybe once or twice they've had a two minute or so conversation, but that could only be due to the amount of alcohol that Ilyas has drank. I can imagine them being passing acquaintances, but maybe Lily could take a small interest in him? Nothing majorly big, but something that's slightly noticeable.

Daniel and Ilyas
I can't see much happening between these two. They probably wouldn't be interested in each at all and have only passed each other by once or twice in the street with nothing more than a sideways glance. But if they did run into each other somewhere, they probably wouldn't like each other all that much. Dan can be a bit of a cocky ass when he wants to be and would probably tick Ilyas off once or twice with a comment or two. So probably a dislike on both sides?

Aphrodite and Ilyas
This could be a bit interesting. Both of them are hunters to a degree. Both of them try not to get close to people in one way or another. So I can imagine them getting on well enough not to completely ignore one another. Though there is a 10 year age gap which could be a bit of trouble to work with, they could become some sort of 'friend' to each other. Aphrodite's father could stir a few things up seeing as he's a hunter too (different type of hunter though. He hunts sprites and stuff), so maybe that could take an effect. Maybe they could be hunting buddies or something?

Lily & Ilyas
I can see Lily and Ilyas running into each other quite often, as she works as a barkeeper. Perhaps it raises questions for Lily that a man would visit a bar so often and just drinks all by himself, not speaking a word. Also, since Lily is a Fire Sprite; Ilyas has a fear of fire, which he won’t admit to, of course. But there might be some plot in that, in the future.

Daniel & Ilyas
I think the only thing Ilyas and Daniel would have in common is that they both have a younger sister they greatly care for, and alcohol, maybe, but that’s little to bond over. Currently, I wouldn’t have many ideas for these two together, but that’s ok.

Aphrodite & Ilyas
I can see that working. They have many similarities. That could lead to clashes, but I also think Ilyas would like her in a way, appreciates that she doesn’t allow anyone to mess with her. And both of them are quite different than what they appear to be. Hunting partners sounds good too, although she’ll have to impress him first before he’ll allow something like that.. lol

Yeah that sounds good. Maybe him being alone so often could be try to be a conversation starter. I forgot about the fear of fire that Ilyas has! That could work out to be pretty fun in the future. It would be good to see where it goes.

Yeah, hunting sounds like the best place for them. But the only place I can think of without adding a new place (I'll have to talk to Lucy about this sort of thing.) is the ruins. One of them could set up a few targets there for practice or something.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
